Shark Tank: Deals Offered and Closed

Shark Tank has become a platform where entrepreneurs pitch their ideas, and investors, known as “sharks,” offer deals. Of the 237 deals offered on the show, 57% were successfully closed, while 43% fell through. Among the 134 closed deals, 95% of the businesses are still operating, 4% have shut down, and 1% have been sold.

Shark Tank: Deals Offered, Closed, and Changed by Investors

The deals offered by each shark varied in terms of success and status. Mark Cuban offered 32 deals, Daymond John offered 27, Kevin O’Leary offered 14, Barbara Corcoran offered 28, Lori Greiner offered 35, and Robert Herjavec offered 24. The number of deals that remained unchanged and those that changed or fell apart also differed for each investor. The table below details the deals offered by each shark, those that remained the same, those that changed, and those that eventually fell apart.

Shark Deals Offered Deals Stayed the Same Deals Changed Deals Fell Apart
Mark Cuban 32 24 14 5
