The nurse’s responsibilities include overseeing patient care and coordinating with various healthcare professionals. During the interview, we discussed two recurring issues: communication gaps and high turnover. Communication gaps have caused confusion, longer discharge times, and potential patient safety concerns, affecting nurses’ duties. High turnover has led to increased workload and decreased efficiency due to the constant need for staff training. The organization improved internal communication channels through digital platforms to address these issues. Additionally, they attempted to tackle turnover by enhancing HR policies and incentives. The leadership took a proactive approach by implementing digital solutions for communication and reviewing HR policies. The person being interviewed mentioned that they had seen a mix of outcomes. They noticed that there were some positive changes in communication, but the problem of high turnover rates persisted. When discussing working together across different fields, the interviewee said that it’s generally a good thing, but it’s not always easy. They pointed out that people from various professions have different viewpoints, and everyone has busy schedules.
