Professional Development Proposal for CapraTek Alfred! Program Team

As the Motivational Manager for the CapraTek Alfred! Program Team, I am submitting a formal request for sponsorship to support our team members in participating in a professional development team-building exercise, as well as virtual team training with Global Integration. Given the recent expansion of our team, with employees now located across the country, I believe this is an opportune moment to enhance both our effectiveness and communication. Effective team collaboration is essential, especially with new employees positioned globally, and this initiative would significantly benefit our team’s cohesion.

Training Resources

The importance of effective communication across cultural variances cannot be overstated, especially for a global team. The Global Integration program, combined with a team-building exercise, would enhance team dynamics and foster deeper understanding among team members. Global Integration has over 25 years of experience providing training to a variety of world-class clients. Their services include multiple training formats suitable for virtual teams, including:

• Participative face-to-face workshops

• Large-scale web seminars

Research indicates that only 10% of the problems faced by remote teams are tech-related (Dinardi, 2021). As a manager of a virtual team, I was prepared with the necessary communication plans and skillset. However, working in a fully remote environment is new for some of our current and new team members. If you approve this proposal, my team could serve as a trial group to determine whether other teams at CapraTek might benefit from similar training.

Gamenightout.com: Team Building Activity

The second part of my proposal involves a team-building exercise with Gamenightout.com. This 90-minute virtual activity would cost $199.00 and is designed to improve team cohesion while fostering confidence in our communication processes (“Game Night,” 2021). Feedback from previous participants has been overwhelmingly positive:

By participating in both the Global Integration training and Game Night, our team would have the tools and experience necessary to improve communication and strengthen our bond.
